About Us
We started as a single vet practice in East Dulwich 10 years ago and have now grown to have 3 practices, located in East Dulwich, Penge, and Crofton Park, with 20 Vets, 12 RVNs, 10 Veterinary care assistants/ students and 22 reception/ administration staff. We are a close team who work to a high standard, but we are welcoming and not intimidating. We have lovely facilities and buildings, and all the usual good toys including Ultrasound, X-ray, Dental x-ray, Ultrasonic dental machine, Multiparameter, ECG, fully equipped lab, separate dog, and cat wards.
But that's not why you should work here - although a lot of people talk about ‘stuff’ being the most important thing, we know it’s not, it is our people that are! And we have grown our practice by focussing on looking after each other, then pets, then clients.
So, what can you expect from us?
Well firstly, you can expect an excellent standard of care. For example, for every anaesthetic, we use the best drugs (only sevoflurane gas), and everything has an IV placed and gets fluids. We use a range of anaesthetic monitors, we manually chart, we supervise, we train, we record incidents, and we review our practice and process in a supportive way. We provide the safest care for our patients which hopefully means the least stress for everyone.
You can also expect a friendly, welcoming, and open culture from top to bottom. We want humble, kind teammates, who enjoy their work, and can have a laugh! We are not perfect, and we want to continue to all learn, grow and be better. And be supportive and compassionate at all times.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking first and foremost for someone who “gets” what we are trying to achieve and can fit into our team culture and values. We would like someone with confidence in their own abilities which translates into the best pet care. We want someone who can work in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment, can manage time and priorities, and gets the work done each day. And we want someone who can have a laugh (and sometimes a cry!) with the team.
Because our employee’s matter
We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business. Investing in our people, premises and processes is at the heart of what we do. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will benefit from –
Work life balance
