The Role
Holly House Veterinary Hospital have a requirement for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. We are very much a nursing lead practice. You get stuck in with making sure patients are cared for to high standard, making sure medication is given on time, pre meds drawn up, as well as supporting with training our student nurses. This role will entail all aspects of nursing duties working at our hospital and clinic, 40-hour week, 5 days per week over shifts, including 1 in 4/ 1 in 5 weekends. Additionally, there is a requirement to help cover night shifts when our night nurses are on annual leave.
Salary
The salary for this role is up to £27,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

Holly House Veterinary Hospital offers an excellent working environment with fantastic facilities including CT, Capnographs, X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, incubator, Dental X rays, Laparoscope. We see referrals for exotic's, medicine, orthopaedic. It is easy to get to the hospital via bus from the town centre.
About the Team and Culture
We have a big, amazing team consisting of Veterinary Surgeons with certificate holders in Emergency and Critical Care, Medicine, Surgery, Exotics and Dentistry, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurse and Veterinary Care Assistants along with a strong admin team. We are a progressive and large team of 22 Vets, 22 RVN's, and 44 Support Staff, who are all committed to providing the best clinical care possible. Our culture is based on shared values and respect for one another, professional development is encouraged.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent communication skills, the ability to practice nursing duties to high standards who demonstrates excellent team-working abilities. Previous experience in a clinical setting is required, an ECC certificate is appealing but not essential for this role.
