The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at North Weald Vets, Epping. The role will involve monitoring anaesthetics/operations, inpatient care, nurse clinics, general nurse duties and some reception work.
The weekly rota consists of 32-40 hours, with a mixture of early and late shifts (with the possibility for a day off during the week). 1:4 Saturdays and no out of hours.
Salary
The salary for this role is up to £30,000 depending on experience.
About Us
We are a busy well established village vets based in Essex. Our equipment includes digital x-ray, ultrasound, idexx in house blood machines. North Weald Vets has steadily grown to become a very busy practice whilst maintaining a caring attitude towards its patients and their owners.
Our practice is based in North Weald and is close to Epping with excellent transport links such as the underground tube station and the M11.
We are a small, dedicated and very friendly team of vets and nurses who have been providing veterinary care in the area for nearly 10 years. Our team currently consists of 5 Vets, 5 RVN's, 2 student nurses, 1 ACA and 1 Receptionist. We are experienced general practitioners, but also have our own areas of special interest, such as Ophthalmology, Soft Tissue surgeries and Diagnostic Imaging. We also have strong links with several specialist referral centres, should the need arise for very complicated surgical or medical cases
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for an experienced RVN, who is happy placing iv catheters, taking blood samples, interested in nurse clinics, reliable and trustworthy, and just generally would like being part of a lovely team of people.
