Our client has been instructed in a rare and exciting vacancy for a Regulatory Solicitor to join a well-established integrated commercial law firm in one of their Yorkshire offices. Our client is a successful and reputable firm, having been practicing law for over 100 years. The Role
As a Regulatory Solicitor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following;
Advising and representing businesses, their senior people and individuals on the whole range of regulatory and corporate defence matters
Defending companies and their key people facing investigation and prosecution for alleged breaches of criminal regulatory offences
Protecting businesses and their key personnel against the potential negative consequences of an investigation or prosecution whether financial, reputational or personal
Defending corporate and individual clients against a wide range of regulators including HSE, EA, HMRC, CQC, SFO, BIS, OFT, FACT, Local authorities and on occasion the police
The Candidate
Ideally the successful candidates should have at least 2 years' PQE with a criminal defence background
While the firm have requested that the role be based in their York office, they are willing to be flexible with location for the right candidate, as long as they are willing to travel to the other offices as and when requested
This is a niche role that would be a great fit for someone wishing to take on an interesting, varied and challenging case load
