4 ON / 4 OFF - PLANNER - RELOAD MILK LOGISTICS
Reporting to Reload Operations Team Leader
Job Purpose: To ensure that the SJ Bargh fleet of reload and general haulage vehicles are routed and scheduled efficiently and effectively at all times to ensure that all client orders are delivered within lead times and within the profile of the product considering client parameters and drivers hours regulations.
Brief Outline of Responsibilities:
1. To receive client orders from the Client Services Team and assign duties to drivers and vehicles.
2. To manage and secure resource (approved agency, sub-contractor, internal) and ensure adequate availability to cover customer orders.
3. To proactively plan the client orders to the available, reload vehicles considering empty running days off and driver’s hours compliance laws and to ensure that the order of allocated jobs is clearly displayed on the planning platform.
4. To proactively revise the plan in accordance with customer changes to reflect revised delivery address and /or delivery times.
5. To proactively advise the Client Services Team of out of scope deliveries and issues with client requests for feedback to client.
6. To ensure that all deliveries that are out of scope are advised to the client and recorded on the traffic office incident report forms.
7. To ensure that all delivery slots are booked at dairies for reload vehicles prior to end of work day.
8. To ensure that all demurrages and additional costs are passed onto the Client Services Team for review prior to charging to the client.
9. To proactively control the location of all tanks, both full and empty to ensure that they are available for use as required.
10. To contact the internal / external service providers daily and ensure that service planning sheets are up to date.
11. To ensure all tanks are swabbed to conform to DTAS standards
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
