We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our Business Development team as a Technical Business Development Support. This role will be instrumental in driving the development and execution of renewable energy projects, providing technical expertise, conducting market research, and supporting business growth initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project development lifecycle, including site assessment, feasibility studies, system design, grid application, and electrical studies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise project designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct technical analysis and evaluations to identify project risks, opportunities, and performance enhancements.
- Support the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including market research, competitor analysis, and opportunity assessment.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other materials for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry organizations.
- Coordinate project activities and deliverables, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and schedules, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and address project issues and risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in renewable energy project, with a strong enginerring background in areas such as solar, energy storage, or grid integration.
- Proficience in PVSyst, PVCase, Autocad, QGis.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical data, evaluate project economics, and assess risk factors.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
