Job Description

As the Reporting Accountant, you will support production of timely and accurate information in accordance with a monthly, quarterly, and annual timetable including period end accounts for the management team. This role also takes ownership of the daily music finance and admin tasks, ensuring data and results for shows are validated and recorded for reporting to the Music manager on a weekly and monthly basis.

This role is based in our Uxbridge office around 2 days in the office a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in straight forward and simple period end accounting for utilities (accruals and prepayments). Production and reconciliation of management accountants and variance analysis for assigned general ledger accounts.
• Preparing balance sheets reconciliations and assisting with the investigation of reconciling items to ensure integrity of balances.
• Assist in answering queries in relation to assigned general ledger accounts.
• Assist external auditors with interim and year-end audits.
• Responsible for all daily finance aspects related to the music venues.
• Ownership and maintenance of the music master file.
• Record restaurant manager information (food and drinks sales, and musicians bill amounts).
• Use the Booking Management System to send out details of amounts due to artists/agents for shows that have taken place.
• Check and code music invoices and add to fortnightly cashbook payment list.
• Maintenance of the music Finance mailbox.
• Preparing weekly and monthly music reports for Music Manager.

What you'll need:

• Be a self-starter, who is willing and able to take initiative.
• Microsoft e.g. Excel, Word
• Desire to learn new skills/systems.
• Strong Team player
• Good organisation and time management skills in order to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, and willingness to liaise with different departments across the business.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Sound financial accounting skills.
