£65,000 - £75,000 + Equity + Progression into R&D Manager
Do you have R&D experience in Electronics / Instrumentation and a understanding of mechanical principles? Are you looking for a fully autonomous role driving the innovation behind a patented product with a company offering equity from day one? This is an excellent opportunity to join a one-of-a-kind organisation and spearhead their product innovation. As the company grows, you will be promoted into R&D Manager and be responsible for the leadership of a specialist team.
An ideal applicant will come from a commercial R&D background, having worked with sensors / instrumentation / electronics and a good understanding of mechanical principles. The company are a specialist OEM supplying the commercial & industrial sector with a niche & highly sought after product. Due to continued expansion, they are currently seeking a R&D Engineer to drive innovation and support the continued growth of the team / business.
In this role you will initially focus on product innovation, working directly with the MD and Product Manager. In time, you still step into a R&D Manager role and be responsible for the growth and subsequent management of the research and development team.
Position:
- R&D Engineer (Sensors / Electronics)
- £65,000 - £70,000 + Equity + Progression into R&D Manager
- Spearhead various innovation and development projects
- Lead & grow a research and development team
- Full product and industry training provided
Person:
- R&D Engineer or similar
- Experience working with sensors / instrumentation
- Understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Competent with CAD drawing, prototyping, trials, etc.
- Looking for a technically diverse role offering clear & defined progression
