<div><h3>Job Title:</h3><p>Senior/Research Scientist – Mass spec</p><h3>Contract:</h3><p>12 months</p><h3>Location:</h3><p>Slough</p><h3>Salary:</h3><p>£28.09 – 33.58 PAYE, £38.24 Umbrella</p><p>SRG are working with a Global Biopharmaceutical company to help them find a Senior/Research Scientist to join their busy team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual experienced in HDX-MS to join the Mass Spectrometry team within the Protein Structure and Biophysics Group. Key Responsibilities will include:</p><ol><li>and mechanistic understanding of target and therapeutic molecule interactions are driven by our department using Mass Spectrometry, Cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, SAXS, NMR and other biophysical techniques.</li><li>track record in the design and execution of HDX-MS experiments with a contextual understanding of their results alongside other structural data.</li><li>and prioritise the demands from multiple projects.</li></ol><h3>Essential Requirements:</h3><ul><li>or BSc with 5+ years of relevant laboratory-based experience in the design, execution and analysis of HDX-MS experiments for antibody/protein/ligand interactions.</li><li>with Waters data processing software packages (PLGS) and DynamX.</li><li>knowledge Waters HDX-MS system.</li><li>of structural visualisation tools (PyMOL, Chimera or similar).</li><li>with HDX-MS experiments using NBE and NCE molecules.</li><li>organisational, communication, record keeping and team-working abilities.</li></ul><h3>Desirable Requirements:</h3><ul><li>analysis of membrane proteins.</li><li>and maintenance of Waters LC/MS equipment.</li><li>ability with Native MS, ion mobility MS, SEC-MS or intact mass LC/MS.</li><li>track record of publications related to mass spectrometry in peer reviewed journals.</li><li>of recombinant protein expression systems and PTMs.</li><li>knowledge of Thermo Scientific Orbitrap MS systems.</li></ul></div>
