Proclinical are recruiting a Research Director for an innovative scientific research establishment. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in the UK.Responsibilities:Help design and develop the strategic vision and positioning for the division that is consistent with connected business ethos and commitment to serving the biopharma industry.Accentuate our thought leadership in drug development niches and build brand credibility via content, publications, presentations, and client case studies.Work collaboratively with other senior stakeholders to deliver strategic vision and advise on becoming a top-tier market research specialist.Take ownership of project quality and define standards of execution for the Analyst team.Oversight and coordination of project including resourcing, costing, client communication and management of timelines.Conducting primary and secondary research as required to role model best practice in report writing, in-depth interviews, and survey design.Work with marketing and sales teams to scope new projects and playing an active role in business development activities.Develop proposals and determine appropriate methodologies, techniques, design, costing, and resources.Maintain, develop, and establish relationships with key client contacts and organisations to grow the business unit.Key Skills and Requirements:Ability to establish credibility in front of senior management at client companies.Excellent communicator skills and the ability to contribute to the team as well as other functional stakeholders.Must have ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects in parallel.Strong people manager capable of inspiring performance and nurturing new talent.We believe in developing talent from within and therefore we would expect you to have a passion for coaching and skill development.If you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Ghislaine Johnson-Thomas at (phone number removed).Proclinical is a specialist employment agency and recruitment business, providing job opportunities within major pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.Proclinical Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.#LI-GJ2#HEORCommercial
