Position: Founding Research Scientist - Generative Speech and Audio
Location: London
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of state-of-the-art generative models for speech and audio synthesis, including but not limited to diffusion models, variational autoencoders (VAEs), and generative adversarial networks (GANs).
- Design and implement novel architectures and algorithms tailored specifically for speech and audio tasks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate generative models into text-to-speech (TTS) and speech-to-speech (STS) applications.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in generative AI research and contribute insights to drive innovation within the company.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on machine learning, deep learning, or artificial intelligence.
- Proven experience in training generative models, ideally in speech or audio synthesis.
- Expertise in generative AI models such as diffusion, VAEs or GANs.
- Solid understanding of signal processing techniques relevant to speech and audio processing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
