**** Resident Engineer -Watford- ASAP start- Permanent role - £40k - £44k (depending on experience) ****
Our client is looking for a resident engineerto join there team, they are a well established fire & security company UK wide.
Responsibilities:
? To provide preventative and corrective maintenance to Large integrated security systems for access control, CCTV and intruder detection.
? To provide proactive operational support to the site security team, to ensure integration of electronic and manned security measures, and, to provide continuous improvement to service levels.
? To ensure all faults and routine maintenance functions are carried out to a high quality in line with the standards, and in a timely manner in line with a schedule.
? Ensuring all service related matters are dealt with in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
? Responding to and meeting the clients SLA requirements
? Working with teams to ensure all open service calls are resolved in a timely manner.
? maintaining and agreed on site spares holding.
? Managing and delivering and agreed PPM schedule on time.
? Working with project teams as the site grows and new building or equipment come online
Disciplines include:
? CCTV,
? Access Control
? Perimeter Intruder Detection
? Integrated Control Systems
? PCs and other computer platforms
? Electrical & Hydraulic Gates & Turnstiles (first line only)
? Security Lighting
Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:
? Formal electrical / electronic qualifications preferred.
? Experienced of installation, commissioning, or maintenance of integrated systems including CCTV, Access Control systems, Intruder, Perimeter and or Fire.
? Demonstrable basic electronics skills.
? A willingness to work at height or in exposed locations as required
? IT skills
Excel, MS outlook.
? Ability to work alone.
? Proactive working and thinking to offer solutions and improvements.
Personal Qualities and Behaviours:
? A well-presented individual with the ability to work as part of the clients security operation
? A confident communicator at all customers levels along with an understanding of service and client retention issues.
? The ability to deal with complex technical problems under pressure.
? You must be a good communicator, in person and written correspondence.
? Keen to learn new products and systems
? Able to work on your own or as part of a team
? Can be flexible with working hours if required, some faults require out of hours working
? Organised in approach and methodical on any follow up actions or paperwork as and when required
? Full UK Driving Licence
Salary:
£40k - £44k depending on experience
