Tell me about the firm and the team?
This is a leading national firm with a particularly strong reputation in residential development, acting for most of the largest housebuilders in the UK. They are involved in some of the most high profile, interesting and complex schemes available and are universally regarded as a leading player in this specialist area.
They have recently recruited a leading name in the industry to spearhead the growth and development of their Northern offices.
What is the culture like?
Very relaxed and friendly. While the team work across their network, they are headed by a leading lawyer in this field with an excellent reputation, the team has a strong local presence in Manchester and across the Northern regions with lawyers that help each other out and work collegiately to deliver for clients while making it a great team to work in.
They are offering a balance of office and home working but, importantly have fostered a close culture from team days and regular office time. The team loves to socialise together and intends to continue to develop this.

The appointment of lawyers with residential development experience across a range of PQE levels is particularly crucial for the structure of the team. At junior levels, residential development doesn't have to have been your sole focus to date, but some development experience and a real interest in this area is seen as key by the team.
