Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Conveyancing Partner- Cheltenham - Legal 100 Law Firm- 7 PQE +- Hybrid

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an 7+PQE Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a recognised Residential Property team based in Cheltenham . My client is looking for a solicitor or someone with 7+ years post qualification experience who has a solid background in Residential Property matters , who wishes to make a move into this exciting and continually growing area as a partner.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgages of residential leasehold and freehold property (registered, unregistered, new builds)
• Carry out lease extensions and auction transactions
• Manage and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and introducers
• Comply with all internal and external audits
• Share information and best practice with colleagues wherever possible
• Follow the firm's detailed policies and procedures
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements
• Have experience in a wide range of conveyancing practices to include sales, purchases, transfers and assents, re-mortgages, new builds, adverse possession, first registrations, shared ownership, leasehold and listed properties
• An ability to work as part of a team, collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
• Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
• To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
• To have strong commercial acumen
• To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail

  Skills and experience

  
  

  • Extensive and sound experience of working in residential conveyancing, including the more complex aspects
  • Working knowledge of referral arrangements and strong awareness of compliance issues
  • Business development skills
  • IT literate with an understanding and willingness to pioneer and embrace system development to build efficiencies
  • Experience of building relationships with both new and existing clients and professionals
