We are currently looking for aResponsive Repairs Supervisorto join our team in Winchester.
Main duties involve:
- Ensure the effective supervision of all responsive repairs works in your allocated area.
- Liaise with client, sub-contractor and DLO to ensure KPI’s are met.
- To manage all aspects of the delivery of works including provision of specifications & quotes, also liaising with planners on work allocation and follow on works ensure plant and materials are scheduled accordingly.
- To support other departments such as voids when required.
- To support on a Rota basis the out of hours (OOH) supervisor call out.
- Effective One to Ones and PDPs.
- Creating and delivering on learning opportunities for your people through effective talent management and career and succession planning.
- Promoting and encouraging information and knowledge sharing between team members giving your people the tools, they need and allowing them to make decisions aligned with their responsibilities and providing the appropriate level of support required to fulfil their responsibilities.
- Carry out toolbox talks
- Providing support and advice on all works related matters.
- Planning, allocating and evaluating team and individual workload, providing additional resources where necessary & providing support to All Line Managers
- Putting safety and health at the heart of decision making, asking, listening and responding, creating an environment where ideas are freely expressed and lessons learnt without fear of recrimination.
- Controlling and overseeing the work in progress ensuring works in progress are managed and closed down accurately.
- Ensuring all aspects of HSEQ are adhered to at all times
- Ensuring the progress of work adheres to contractual requirements
- Maintaining records, including details of plant, machinery, progress, resources etc
- Attending any ad-hoc inspections
- Assisting in any hand-over process
- Only employing processes that add value to your customers and people
- Support in the resolution of complaints.
- Reporting on and supporting on any H&S incidents that occur.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience within the repairs sector
