Restaurant General Manager Job In Lisburn

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who would relish the chance to have their evenings free and not work every weekend!

Sounds too good to be true but this is an exciting opportunity to join an established brand and manage a high volume all day dining operation. This leading brand already has an exceptional reputation for offering quality food, excellent service and standards and strong values around people. The ideal candidate will have gained at least 2 years experience as a branded Restaurant Manager, Deputy GM, Coffee Shop Manager, or supermarket Cafe Manager ideally from a high volume operation. We are looking for a commercially astute Manager who has a proven track record and can demonstrate examples of delivering bottom line performance with high turnover operations.

You will be responsible for a circa 200 cover cafe/restaurant with a large team including an Assistant Manager and Supervisors both front and back of house, and upwards of 15 staff. You must enjoy being front of house, hands on and highly visible in the restaurant with customers and staff but also be able to assist back of house if needed. You should be able to effectively lead, motivate develop and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service and standards consistently. It is essential that you have some strong analytical skills as you will be responsible for all aspects of finance in the restaurant, including sales, gross profit, stock control, staff wages and controllable expenditure. We are looking for an excellent people manager with a team focus who can identify and monitor the training needs of the team and take an active role in developing and coaching people.
