THE ROLE:
The appointed Restructuring Lawyer will be involved in all forms of complex financial and operational restructurings and insolvency proceedings, including (but not limited to) representing debtors, distressed investors, and creditors in all restructuring efforts both in and out of Chapter 11. You will be acting on behalf of domestic and multi-national corporations experiencing financial difficulties, lenders or creditors in contentious restructuring and private equity or (hedge funds) looking to take a stake in a stressed or distressed company.

THE CANDIDATE:
As an experienced Restructuring Lawyer, you will be 3 – 6 years’ PQE with a proven background in this area of law, which has been gained predominantly within top 10 law firms. You must be able to deliver high quality legal advice in a confident and professional manner, ensuring client needs are understood and exceeded at all times. You will be organised and efficient with exceptional communication and time management skills.

THE FIRM:
This US Tier 1 practice continues to play a dominant role in the London private equity market, with its work consisting of some of the sectors largest take-privates, investments, acquisitions and disposals. Its team’s client base encompasses some of the most prominent names in the US and European private equity, working across mainstream PE and real estate PE as well as acting for sovereign wealth funds and pension funds.
