Our client are a luxury boutique consultancy with a global client presence within the retail sector. They are currently seeking a talented Business Analyst to support one of their leading clients in Europe.
This person will be an expert in supply chain processes, particularly in downstream operations encompassing logistics and warehouse management. They will play a crucial role in mapping current processes, and identifying and proposing areas of improvement to enhance efficiency within the downstream supply chain.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of downstream supply chain processes including ingestion, pick and pack processes, transportation management, customs processes, store goods receipt, store feedback with errors, and returns from store to warehouse.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand current processes, system touchpoints, and pain points in the downstream supply chain operations.
- Create detailed process catalogues and process maps documenting existing AS IS processes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement (TO BE processes) to enhance downstream supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to validate proposed improvements and ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Provide recommendations and insights based on analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the downstream supply chain.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on retail supply chain processes, preferably in downstream operations within logistics and warehouse management.
- In-depth understanding of logistics and warehouse operations, including order management, inventory management, transportation, and distribution processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.
