The Retail Pricing Analyst plays a key role in managing and maintaining multiple pricing databases, reviewing data and prices to achieve better commercial outcomes.


Our Retail sites across the UK depend on this role to support Point of Sales & Back Office Sales system queries and issues that arise – stakeholder management and building relationships with Store Managers and Area Managers will be paramount.


This role is office based 5 days a week at our offices in Weybridge, Surrey.


Responsibilities


  • Import daily price files from wholesale partners, maintaining and regularly updating all pricing databases
  • Liaise with suppliers to review profit margins and mark-ups, ensuring margin goals are attained
  • Work across all main price files (Spar, Morrisons) and additional third-party files, keeping them updated under the correct product groups
  • Analyse and implement ongoing promotions to the appropriate group of products, collating all the information ready for promotion live dates
  • Support the sites in the use of retail sales system and deal with site system issues and queries, escalating to Point of Sales providers where necessary
  • Reporting and admin support on an adhoc basis


Qualifications & Experience


  • Experience supporting Point of Sales/Back Office Sales system, maintaining the data and reporting
  • Experience working with databases
  • Meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy of information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work prioritise and accomplish tasks in assigned time frames
  • Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills
