Revenue Accountant & Business Partner - Hybrid

A leading professional services organisation is seeking a dynamic and experienced UK Revenue Accountant & Business Partner on an interim basis. This pivotal role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of UK Revenue (approximately £100m) and project management within the organisation.
 
Key responsibilities of the Revenue Accountant & Business Partner include:

  • Oversee monthly revenue postings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the financial records. Maintain revenue fee sheets, project budgets, and post revenue journals at month end.
  • Manage project budget postings and provide comprehensive project management support.
  • Be a driver of PowerBI and Dynamics software usage and best practices. Assist the team with queries around the operation of the Dynamics365 F&O project management functionality.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis and information to various stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Oversee the flow of information from project setup, LoE/SoW, billing, and revenue recognition, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with the Client Invoice Administrator and project managers to maintain the integrity of financial information. Review accrued revenue monthly with the Client Invoice Administrator to ensure revenue accuracy and timely billing.
  • Help agree, review, coordinate, and post regional revenue allocations.
  • Conduct reviews of newly created mandates/job codes for accuracy in line with the contract.
  • Mentor the Junior Revenue Accountant and work closely with Finance Managers in other regions or practice groups to ensure completeness and accuracy of UK revenue.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the UK Partners, holding ad hoc meetings to discuss fee generation and their fee pipeline.

The successful Revenue Accountant & Business Partner will require:
  • Proven experience in revenue accounting and business partnering.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on financial accuracy and budget control.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with various teams.
