Job Description
We are looking for a Reviews Editor to create and commission guitar/gear reviews across multiple platforms and brands for an engaged global audience. What you'll be doing... As part of the Reviews Hub you will bridge the gap between print, online, video, eCommerce and Creative Solutions (CS), reporting to the Head of Reviews to ensure that our reviews content is the best, maximising efficiencies, and creating expert content that is fun, useful and distributed across our platforms to reach as large an audience as possible. You will also: Create the reviews output across our guitar brands and the guitar content on MusicRadar Work with eCommerce team to maximise the value of our reviews Buying Guide output Work with magazine and online editors to maximise efficiency; minimise duplication of effort and make our publishing schedule efficient Partner with PRs and companies to plan and manage reviews and coverage around product release dates Log, return and otherwise manage all products in and out of Bath using a centralised list Commission and write reviews Manage budgets as allocated by Head of Reviews Collaborate with the Reviews Editors of Guitarist and Guitar World print Experience that will put you ahead of the curve... In-depth knowledge of guitars and the guitar market The ability to create reviews content that is useful for our readers and a view on how this will evolve over the coming years in order help our audience make better-informed decisions The ability to create content that connects with a multinational but US-first target audience The ability to collaborate with key collaborators, internal and external, Knowledge of our multi-platform landscape (online, print, social and video) The ability to manage a budget, create and hit deadlines Multi-media skills (an understanding of what makes great content, including video, audio and written) What's in it for you… We have a number of awesome perks available to our staff.
