Job Description

A dynamic Rewards Manager is sought to elevate employee motivation and engagement through the strategic design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive remuneration and recognition programs. This role is based in Malton, North Yorkshire, with a salary of up to £50,000.

This pivotal role will ensure the company’s reward systems are competitive, compliant, and aligned with its mission. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Rewards Partner or Manager, though individuals looking to step up into this role are also encouraged to apply. You will be analytical with proficiency in Excel, and possess killer ambition and a passion for all things reward. Experience with or a background in any of these sectors—financial services, accountancy, payroll, or analytics—would be ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement total reward programs such as salary structures, benefits packages, incentive plans, salary sacrifice schemes, pay strategies, and recognition schemes.
  • Ensure compliance of all reward programs with legal and regulatory requirements, including NMW & AE.
  • Oversee the administration of employee reward programs, including bonus reviews, pay reviews, and risk insurances.
  • Enhance the company’s total reward offering with soft benefits, including employee assistance schemes, wellbeing programs, education, and training.
  • Manage risk insurance offerings and processes, including income protection, group life, and private medical schemes.
  • Support the administration, management, and communication of group pension schemes.
  • Address employee enquiries related to compensation and benefits proactively.
  • Communicate employee benefits and offerings effectively, including developing rewards platforms.
  • Conduct benchmarking and develop job evaluation methods to inform compensation and benefits strategies.
Salary on offer is up to £50,000, depending on experience, as well as 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), a competitive pension contribution and other benefits.
