Key duties (including but not limited to):
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and support review activities of key functions such as Underwriting, Pricing, Reserving, Underwriting Performance, Exposure Management, Outwards Reinsurance, and other areas of the business to understand their priorities and risk issues
- Analysing data and information to provide fresh perspectives and insights around exposures and performance
- Supporting various risk management activities, including risk identification, monitoring, reporting, and supporting the business in putting in place an effective control environment
- Supporting enhancement of various risk management activities to improve efficiency in reporting and insights
- Supporting deep dives activity and risk opinions across a range of risk areas across the business
- Presenting results of analyses and reports within the business
- Experience within insurance risk management or first line experience in any of: Underwriting, Pricing, Reserving, Exposure Management or Outwards Reinsurance
- Strong numerical aptitude with a quantitative mindset
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally
- Proactive engagement with stakeholders
- Experience across investments, financial risk management, quantitative analysis and the Lloyds / London market is highly desirable
