As a Market RiskManager responsible for coverage of Central and Eastern Europe, MiddleEast and Africa (CEEMEA) region within the Global Emerging Marketsbusiness, you will work within a team which covers all products withinfixed income specifically looking after the CEEMEA region. You will beresponsible for managing market or fair value risk within DeutscheBank and will carry out this responsibility in an independent andneutral way, providing a comprehensive view of market risks tomanagement.

Your key responsibilities
  • Daily monitoring ofexposures against limits, and driving both the articulation andadherence to risk appetite
  • Partner with other Market Riskteams, and other Risk management functions (for example, ValuationControl, Market Risk Analysis and Control, and Risk MethodologyStrats), to ensure that the full suite of valuation processes, riskmetrics, infrastructure, and controls are developed and implemented tosupport the commercial build-out of the Metals business.
  • Engage and challenge Front Office (FO) desk heads and seniortraders with respect to exposures, valuations, new business, marketactivity, risk culture, controls, and risk appetite; escalate riskexposures and issues as required to senior management within the ChiefRisk Officer (CRO) function
  • Ensure risk completeness andaccuracy, ensure that the limit framework and appetite is commensuratewith infrastructure, and develop and implement the Risks-not-inframework
Your skills and experience
  • Experience in market risk management, either within the secondline (market risk) or first line (trading, structuring).
  • Experience in fixed income markets-related roles, and knowledge ofrisk operations within a market making business is preferred.Importantly, a solid understanding of the impact of financial andeconomic events on markets and market risk positions are key
  • Strong technical and analysis skills (dbAnalytics, Excel, VBA orsimilar, statistics, time series. Knowledge of Python and SQLdesirable)
  • Knowledgeable of market risk controls andgovernance frameworks, with strong experience in defining,implementing and running Risks-Not-in and stress tests
