An automotive component manufacturer with sites across the world require a Robot Programmer to develop robot programs for multiple assembly lines. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and hold considerable experience in robot programming.Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Warwick, Leamington SpaSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 p.a.Suitable for: Mechatronics Engineer, Robot Technician, Robot Programmer, Robot Engineer, ProgrammerThe RoleReporting into the Engineering Manager, you will have the following duties:-Spend time with suppliers to support launch programmes.-Manage and develop programs throughout the build phase.-Backup and maintenance of programs.-Manage, maintain and configure all software across PLCs, Robotics, DC Tooling, Welders etc.The PersonEducated to degree level in Mechatronics, Automation or Robotics you will have the following experience:-Working with Robotics in first tier automotive.-Nachi robotic programming but could be also considered as desirable as training can also be given.-Understanding of offline programming techniques.To apply for this opportunity please click to apply or contact Greg Kneuss at the Ethero office in Telford for further details
