Key Responsibilitie
- s:Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practice
- s.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential safety issue
- s.Provide advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety matters, including the safe use of equipment, PPE requirements, and emergency procedure
- s.Deliver health and safety training and induction programmes for employees and subcontractors, ensuring that all personnel are adequately informed and trained to perform their duties safel
- y.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures to avoid recurrenc
- e.Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and other stakeholders on health and safety matters, representing the company’s interests and ensuring compliance with contractual obligation
- s.Monitor and report on health and safety performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management and project stakeholder
s.Qualifications and Skill
- s:Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety or a related fiel
- d.NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safet
- y.Thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to the construction secto
- r.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all level
