Acting as the frontline ambassador of our brand, your primary responsibility will be to identify potential customers, initiate contact, and converting prospects into long-term satisfied clients. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on hunting for new business, developing solutions and closing deals.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, as an Account Executive your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by acquiring and developing new client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition:
  • Proactively identify, research, and target potential clients within the managed office and flexible workspace market.
  • Leverage market data, industry reports and networking to identify high potential prospects
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Growth and Partnerships Lead to develop and execute strategic outreach efforts, this includes cold calling, attending industry events, participating in networking events, utilising social media like LinkedIn and leveraging industry contacts, to generate new leads.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the specific workspace requirements of prospective clients and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, design and finance) to tailor workspace solutions that meet the unique needs of the client
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals and contracts that effectively communicate the value and benefits of Knotel products and services to decision-makers
  • Sales Process Management:
  • Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new business sales targets.
  • Utilise Salesforce to track all sales activities, leads, and opportunities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy:
  • Stay informed about industry trends in flexible workspace industry, competitive landscape, and potential market opportunities to strategically position Knotel as the provider of choice.
  • Collaborate with the partnerships and marketing team to refine and enhance lead generation strategies and sales collateral.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with prospects, ensuring a deep understanding of their business challenges and how our solutions can address them.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to potential clients, providing insights and solutions that drive business value.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to account management, maintaining contact with new clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross selling


Qualifications for Internal Candidates

  • Experience:
  • Proven track record in a new business development or sales role, preferably within the real estate, coworking, or managed office industry with a strong ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, developing, and closing new business deals.
  • Skills:
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging and influencing senior-level decision-makers.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales pipeline management.
  • Attributes:
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a relentless drive to succeed.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
