Job Description

Otis Media owns and operates The National Wedding Shows - the UK's largest and longest running consumer wedding events. Taking place 4 times a year in the Spring and Autumn, the shows are a must-attend destination for leading wedding suppliers and engaged couples from across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate sales professional to join a small but established team on a marketing leading portfolio of consumer events. The role is hybrid based in London, with one work from home day and four at the company’s office in Angel.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition packages to prospective clients, developing a strong client base and meeting set targets.

The right candidate:

  • A passion for sales and willingness to make outbound calls.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • A confident, outgoing personality.
  • Able to work as part of a team but also use their own initiative.

Job duties & responsibilities:

  • Selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages.
  • Achieving a minimum of 90 mins per day on sales calls, via a mix of warm incoming leads and cold calls.
  • Achieving and exceeding team and individual sales targets, set by the Sales Manager.
  • Face to face sales presentations with clients and agencies.
  • Contributing ideas that will assist in the growth of the business.
  • Attending competitor events to generate new leads.
  • Ensuring all contractual paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Assisting the Accounts team in ensuring payments are made on time.
  • Undertaking any other relevant duties as specified by the Sales Manager.
