A day in the life of…

As Reservations Agent you will be responsible for supporting the hotel pricing strategy, ensuring maximum revenue, market share and the successful conversion of reservation enquiries from individuals and groups into materialised bookings. You will help with the day-to-day relationships with local corporate bookers and utilise sales opportunities to maximise revenue.

Based in the Holiday Inn Express London Excel you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.

Background / Experince

Essential:

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Willingness to learn about computer technology
  • Willingness to learn sales techniques

Desirable:

  • Sales experience
  • Groups and reservations experience
  • Experience of other hotel booking system GDS or equivalent
  • UK citizen or valid work permit
  • Knowledge of OPERA

You should be able to work Collaboratively, be result driven, be Brand Hearted with ability to think aheadand anticipate customer and market needs and be able to sell the Aimbridge and IHG Hotels group products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques
