Job Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive value-added product market, with a proven track record for success in this field. With that in mind, the candidate will be accountable for revenue growth and the expansion of EMaC’s maintenance plan product portfolio to exceed their financial objectives within a significant business territory (Scotland). The successful candidate will also be required to support EMaC’s current field team to develop their maintenance product pipeline as well as achieve new business wins.

Job summary:

  • To drive business revenue, growth and client satisfaction using EMaC’s expanding product portfolio, with a focus on the EMaC’s maintenance plan product range.
  • Create, develop, and implement a strategic pipeline of new maintenance plan business acquisition across the network with clients who currently do not utilise EMaC’s product range.
  • Cultivate relationships and influence new key decision makers to engage them in EMaC’s maintenance plan portfolio and broader product offering.
  • Take full accountability and responsibility for the delivery and implementation of growth opportunities, focussed on EMaC maintenance plan products.
  • Prepare for future tender negotiations and engage with prospective clients appropriately.
  • Confidently communicate with, and influence, client stakeholders at board or executive level.
  • Stay up to date with the capabilities and offerings of all EMaC competitors in the industry that offer similar products and clearly articulate the advantages of EMaC’s offering over any other.
  • Have full autonomy and accountability of area marketing budget and effective commercial spending to drive business results and generate additional revenue.
  • Share best practice, knowledge and learnings with the team and business stakeholders to enhance EMaC’s industry knowledge.
  • Deliver insightful training to our clients and their staff to encourage best practise and drive sales performance.
  • Identify any risk to EMaC client partnerships and act efficiently to mitigate risk of business loss for any products.

What you’ll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years employment in the automotive industry in similar role.
  • Track record of delivering excellence in client Training & Development.
  • The ability to identify client performance gaps, SMART action plans and performance reviews.
  • An excellent problem solver and communicator.
  • Knowledge of motor trade value-added products.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • IT literate.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • The ability to engage and support clients and partners.
  • Experience of supporting change initiatives.
