Ideally you'll be based in the East of Scotland so you can travel to the Dundee office on a regular basis. The role is hybrid and there is flexibility around office and remote working.


Job Description


Our fast growing global sales team is looking to expand with an exciting new sales demand strategy function that will see the introduction of Sales Development Representatives. SDRs will play a key role in helping drive our sales growth in North America and EMEA.

The Sales Function works with a diverse range of customers, everything from start-ups to the most well-known global corporations. We work closely with our customers to develop a clear understanding of their business context, their needs, and how our range of products can support their business objectives. Through this partnership and relationship approach, the Sales team perform at a high level and are fundamental to the ongoing growth and success of Insights.


  • You'll be the first point of contact for a diverse array of prospects from some of the largest and fastest growing organizations in the world.
  • Using your sharp communication skills, you will quickly develop rapport and gain an understanding of prospects’ business needs before expertly communicating Insights’ value proposition and inspiring with the possibilities available.
  • Use calls, emails and social outreach to book introductory meetings so you can qualify prospects against a BANT (Budget, Authority, Need and Timescale) methodology.
  • Actively listen to a customer’s needs and pain points and be able to connect them with our product solutions.
  • Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects.
  • Generate sales pipeline by coordinating the seamless hand-off of qualified opportunities to sales account managers.
  • Collaborate with sales account managers to meet the company’s targets.
  • Use your knowledge to support the development of materials, such as videos, that will help book more meetings and demos.
  • Use our SDR platform to optimise the cadence of communications required to produce optimal results.
  • Use your experience to provide ongoing improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders.



Qualifications


  • Experience of initiating and developing client relationships in a remote sales environment where you've been qualifying sales opportunities
  • Carrying out research, analysing the data and identifying trends
  • Fearlessly holding conversations with senior external stakeholders
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive outlook so that prospects enjoy engaging with you, our business and our product solutions.
  • Bringing an ABC approach – Always Be Closing will be your focus. You’ll see objections as a challenge and take motivation from getting that meeting booked.
  • Developing exceptional product knowledge so you can easily articulate thoughts and ideas openly.
  • Tenacious and self-motivated, using your expert communication skills to build rapport with potential clients, presenting and representing Insights’ value proposition
  • Showing a strong desire to keep learning, actively reviewing your best and worst interactions to make constant improvements.
