Sales & Estimating Manager required for our client, a well-established Fire and Security Protection Solutions company who boast over 25 years in the industry.You will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from M&E Contractors, Housing Associations, FM, Local Authorities and Property Management.Sales & Estimating Manager Position Remuneration£50,000 - £55,000 DOEVan and Fuel Card20 days + 8BH (extra day added after each year of service)PensionBirthday offLaptop/MobileSales & Estimating Manager Position OverviewAs the Sales and Estimating Manager you will be required to improve market position and financial growth, build key relationships, identify business opportunities and close business deals.Review all tender/quote requestsAssign and mentor estimator(s) to ensure accurate calculationsReview all tenders/quotes once formulated prior to our submission.Meet clients to review tenders/quotes, prospect for new business, and ensure relationships are maintained.Strategic planning is a key part of this job; it is the manager's responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company's competitors.Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.Complete pre-contract checks and negotiations prior to accepting new Projects and handover to Head of Projects.Sales & Estimating Manager Position RequirementsMinimum of 5 years' experience within a similar roleExperience in Estimating / costing / budgeting / financialGood understanding of the Fire and Security industryExcellent sales skills, with a proven track record of sales / business development successCommutable distance to HarlowBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
