Leveraging the breadth of Gartner’s resources, Consulting is growing rapidly, with unlimited potential to continue expanding our client base.

We’re currently looking for Innovation Lab Director to play a crucial role in orchestrating and enabling the growth of Gartner Consulting across EMEA.

In this newly created role, the Innovation Lab Director will focus on evolving and scaling the Innovation Lab in EMEA. The Innovation Lab was established 12 months ago and is central to how we grow double-digit sustainably. It consists of a team of three high-performing Associates who architect business development and sales activities with our most important clients. • Collaborate with Partners and counterparts in other Business Units to build and execute account planning and business development activities on a small portfolio of accounts

  • Develop short-term win strategies and power maps for must win opportunities

  • Work with Partners and Pursuit Teams to dissect client problems, build innovative and differentiated solutions and advise on the commercial aspect of deals. It includes building content and proposals and pitching proposals to clients and prospects

  • Partner with other teams to design and executed highly targeted conversation starter campaigns

  • Design, test and implement new ideas in how we engage and sell to our clients. Drive the roll-out of these proven practices across the business

  • Identify and onboard a team of three Associates. Coach, train and mentor them as Solution Architects.  The team are small but high-performing and high in-demand

  • The successful candidate will have full authority for prioritising capacity and demand within the team. Ultimately, they will manage what opportunities/deals the Innovation Lab can support

  • It will be delivered by coaching and collaborating with our Partners on our most strategic and high-value opportunities in EMEA

  • The Lab is a testing ground for new ideas in how we engage and sell to our clients. As such, the successful candidate will partner with Industry Leaders to drive proven practices across our business, ultimately with the aim of helping to improve sales productivity

  • The successful candidate will also play a key role in coaching and mentoring high-performers (6+ Associates per annum) - what we consider our Partners of Tomorrow

What you’ll need:

  • Track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales goals and quotas

  • Experience in a commercial orientated role (i.e. account management, business development, sales etc.), as well as experience leading small but high-performing teams

  • Strong commercial acumen (i.e. sales methodologies, building proposals, pricing negotiations). Grasps the importance of trust-based client relationships when selling professional services/solutions

  • Innovative, open-minded, curious, and willing to push the boundaries

  • Executive presence with experience presenting to senior leaders, internally and with clients

  • Experience managing and developing small but high-performing teams and of working in a matrix environment

  • Ideally will have experience in Consulting but open to candidates from other Industries (i.e. Tech)
