We have been exclusively tasked to bring a brand new role to market for one of largest clients who supply the UK retailer market with premium food products. Due to an exciting new phase they're entering, our client has created this brand new role to further support the business and to continue delivering the highest service levels.
As the Sales, Operations Planning Manager you will bring a level of expertise into the planning function that will allow clearer communication between sales, planning, procurement and production functions.
Responsible for connecting the sales and operations planning (S&OP) to the weekly execution, focusing on tracking how demand and supply match the plan at an SKU level. This role will be essential in managing the day to day and providing a controlled mode of operations, to the supply chain and shop floor. Building supplier relationships and enhancing communication on customer service levels, working closely with Procurement and Commercial functions as well as the upskilling and management of the planning and stock control team.
This role will report to the GM and you will create a close working relationship with the head of operations as well.
