The Role:
As an SAP Finance Consultant, you will be an assertive team member who will lead and drive tasks. You will also play a key role in managing stakeholders, take initiatives and work in a multi-vendor team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the solution design and implementation of IT architecture for SAP Finance (R2R) business domains with significant strategic importance.
- Ensure the architectures and solution designs deliver the portfolio business objectives that create long term value for the customer.
- Bring a holistic view across Business domains and IS functions focusing on driving efficiencies and value across the end-to-end IT service lifecycle.
- Build long term relationships with senior stakeholders in the portfolio they operate and within the IT and third-party supplier community.
- Design, influence and adherence to architecture governance frameworks across the portfolio business domain and wider organization frameworks.
- Develop system designs that adhere to high level conceptual design and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in projects/enhancements.
- Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution, and operations of solutions.
- Perform scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects/enhancements, propose solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and align with business teams.
- Thought leadership drawing on a broad range of skills and experience; creating innovative insights, adapting methods and practices to fit team and cultural needs.

Your Profile:
Technical key skills:
- Solution Architect with sound knowledge in Finance, Treasury, Group Tax, Regulatory Reporting and effective Integration’s with S2P, O2C, Banking.
- Experience in Core SAP Finance Finance(R2R), controlling processes with strong S4 HANA solution expertise.
- Experience of taking a 'big picture' strategic view as well as being able to work at a detailed level across wider SAP application estate and approaches.
- Track record for leading SAP solution architecture designs that have led to long term value for the organization based on a strong understanding of business drivers & IT cost base.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills in complex environments covering colleagues, third party vendors and project sponsors.
Key experience:
- SAP experience as a Solution Architect/Senior Consultant in the SAP Finance domain with core expertise on S4 HANA across implementation and maintenance projects.
- Good knowledge in Finance, Treasury, Group Tax, Regulatory Reporting, and effective Integration’s with S2P, O2C, Banking.
- Knowledge of Integration Architectures, Data Architecture, Overall Solution Architecture and Process/Business Architecture
- Experience in SAP BPC systems.
- Experience in creating Conceptual Architecture which includes addressing Security BSR’s & SoX Compliance.
- Knowledge on Cloud Products & Hostings.
- Propose Solution designs considering ROI & RTB.
- In depth experience in Controlling submodules and SAP Functional configuration expertise in General Ledger (FI- GL), Controlling (CO), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Project Systems (PS) Profitability Analysis (PA), New GL.
- Experience in Financial Month end Activity, Financial Closing Cockpit and Intercompany reconciliation process.
- SAP S4H (1709/1809/1909) implementation experience with Simple Finance / Central Finance exposure.
- Excellent team leadership skills, ideally with experience of working in global teams with matrix reporting and deliverables.
Good to have:
- Utilities experience highly beneficial.
- Knowledge in Fiori.
- Exposure in cross integration with other modules such as MM, SD, PS is preferred.
