We are hiring a SAP Functional Lead based in the UK on a hybrid basis!
Working closely with our SAP Platform Manager, we are looking for a SAP Functional Lead to assist in managing the Business Systems functional team, contributing to their work commitments, whilst maintaining a high performing, high quality business culture.
You will ensure the functional team is appropriately resourced, informed and motivated for the business deliver services. A key part of your role will be to support the continuous improvement and efficiency across our applications management function.
This role will be based out of either our Chiswick or Milton Keynes offices, and office attendance is on a business needs basis.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities include:
Manage the SAP functional team in coordination with the service delivery aspects
Provide hands on functional configuration support of the SAP modules SD, MM, PM, FI/CO, and data to the downstream interfaced applications
Review projects and changes submitted by business stakeholders to ensure solutions are agreed and robust, and implemented within our overall SAP roadmap
Act as a resolution manager for any diversity, in support of the scope of the workload
Influence and recommend solutions for the prioritisation strategy for new requirements, and to provide an audit trail
Assist in managing the workloads of the SAP functional team whilst ensuring delivery at pace in a semi-agile and responsive manner
To be successful in this role, you should:
Have hands on SAP, SD and MM functional experience in an ABAP based system, with PM/HR experience beneficial.
Team leadership skills; the ability to coach/lead the SAP functional team in relation to the service management.
Be skilled and comfortable in troubleshooting and problem solving.
Have good interpersonal skills such as communication and stakeholder management, and a flexible attitude.
Possess a desire to learn new skills and have a willingness to cross-train in areas outside of your direct experience.
