Role:

SAP IBP Consultant


Skills required:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SAP IBP and its components, such as demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and sales & operations planning (S&OP).
  • Experience in leading and manage SAP IBP implementation projects, including scope definition, timeline estimation, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, operations, finance, IT) to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Configure master data structures, such as products, resources, demand patterns, and supply plans, in SAP IBP.
  • Understand the integration points of SAP IBP with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP IBP releases, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Analyse business requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and configure SAP IBP to meet those requirements.
  • Design and implement workflows, alerts, and notifications within SAP IBP.
  • Thorough knowledge in planning, execution and validation of data migration from legacy systems to SAP IBP.
  • Collaborate with end-users and IT teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment of the solution.
  • Monitor the performance of the SAP IBP solution post-implementation and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and optimize processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for supply chain planning and management.
  • Present project updates, recommendations, and results to executive management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SAP IBP development teams, partners, and the SAP community to share knowledge and learn from others.
  • Support run team in the event of any critical issues.
