Role Overview: The SAP Functional Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of SAP solutions that meet the business needs and objectives of our clients. Reporting to the Director of SAP Services, the Solution Architect will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business requirements, design solution architectures, and oversee the implementation of SAP modules. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP modules and functionality, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities to drive successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of SAP solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and SAP standards.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze business requirements, identify solution options, and recommend the best-fit SAP modules and functionalities.
- Develop comprehensive solution designs, including functional specifications, technical specifications, and system configurations, to meet business needs and objectives.
- Provide guidance and leadership to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP modules and functionality, providing guidance and support to project teams and clients.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in SAP solution delivery, including the adoption of new technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP consulting, with at least 3 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
- Deep expertise in multiple SAP modules, including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, SAP SRM, SAP Ariba, and SAP SuccessFactors.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies and methodologies, including SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and SAP Data Services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Proven track record of leading successful SAP implementations, including full lifecycle projects from design to deployment.
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
