The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic colleague to join our Transformation Programme working for the Field Services workstream.

As a Scheduling Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to help shape, change and deliver our exciting plans for the years ahead. This role is the representation from Field Operations to ensure solution scope, design and process meet business needs for operational activities.

You will be supporting the Project Manager Lead to oversee and be accountable for the successful delivery of a mobile workforce scheduling solution. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for setting and managing scope, quality, time, and cost constraints to deliver business value. You will also be supporting change management to identify priority changes specific to Field Operations, identifying the benefits and how they would be measured and realised in BAU, and leading on the business readiness activities.

What you’ll be doing

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Act as a liaison within Field Operations to ensure that key deliverables are appropriate for the operational needs of the business.
  • Identify and support the project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
  • Deliver the business analysis to capture the business requirements and needs, while articulating the requirements for the technical solution
  • Provide leadership and motivation to the business and project team members throughout the project lifecycle and confer with project staff to confirm work plan.
  • Liaising with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in order to define the current and future state and to support their adoption.
  • Support project communication plans
  • Support risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
  • Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information, while providing consistency in content across the enterprise.
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of SME project personnel to ensure that the project progresses on schedule within budget.

What you’ll have

Essential:

  • Project management experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
  • Business unit facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully using ‘soft skills’ or ‘people skills’.

Desirable:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; project management and/or general business management; or equivalent related engineering experience.
  • Similar experience within mobile field solutions and their implementation
