Job description IDEX Consulting is working with one of the UK's leading pension consulting firms in the search for Scheme Administrator Lead in their DB schemes team. They also offer a market leading financial & benefits package.You will build a portfolio of clients to which you will manage and maintain the administration aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes on behalf of the scheme trustees. Acting as point of contact for scheme members, scheme managers/trustees and other third parties and provide mentoring and peer review of less experienced administrators.Key RequirementsBroad pensions technical knowledge with experienceExperience working in a Defined Benefit pension administration environmentDetailed understanding of defined benefit pensions schemes and UK pensions legislationKnowledge of systems e.g. Microsoft Office/ Windows applicationsExperience in managing ad-hoc and annual pension projectsExcellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to articulate and communicate current and relevant issues to scheme members; pension trustees; and other relevant third partiesExperience of working pro-actively and using own initiative to complete tasks.The ability to perform in a fast-moving environment providing excellent service to clients and third parties with a desire to succeed at accomplishing challenging objectives.DesirableKnowledge of and experience with GMP Reconciliation / Equalisation calculationsPractical knowledge of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) If you're ready to take that next step in your career or you simply want to know more, please contact Lynn Wilson by emailing or call on .
