Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe and encouraged to participate
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure students' educational needs are met
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay up-to-date with current educational practices
- Promote students' understanding and appreciation of scientific concepts through practical experiments and hands-on activities
- Qualified Science Teacher with a relevant teaching qualification and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary school level
- In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents
- Passion for Science and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs and abilities of students
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational trends and research
