Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive science lessons that align with the school's curriculum objectives
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to engage and motivate students in the classroom
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement and growth
- Assess student progress through regular testing and assignments and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions as required
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents and guardians to ensure student success
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
- Proven experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level
- Passion for science education and dedication to student learning
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing educational needs
