Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons that cater to the needs of diverse students
- Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages active participation and engagement
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as necessary
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of science education
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, achievements, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field
- Teaching qualification or certification in Science Education
- Proven experience as a Science Teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Proactive and flexible approach to teaching, adapting to varying student needs
- High level of IT literacy and proficiency in utilizing educational technologies
