Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students, ensuring the curriculum is covered effectively
- Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback, supporting their academic growth
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for science
- Utilize technology and other educational resources to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with current teaching methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Science Teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for learning
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
