You have industrial experience undertaking Target Validation within cancer drug discovery. How would your work have its greatest impact? Would it be validating druggable targets that are found in one third of cancer patients?
Are you weary of the “whack a mole” nature of oncology R&D? What if you could target cancer in a way that kills malignant tissue but limits the side effects to the patients’ healthy cells?
We are working with a oncology drug discovery startup that has built an incredible and collaborative team of chemists, genomics & drug discovery scientists to discover a drug targeting ecDNA: an oncogenic driver found in one third of tumours, but not at all within healthy cells. They are hiring a Target Validation Scientist to drive their research forward in the lab.
This unique approach to cancer R&D will give you a real opportunity to develop while helping patients suffering from real unmet need.
