Security Fencing Installation Engineer
Field based role working away most of the week - £40/night paid. Plenty of overtime available. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialize in Security / Access Control Systems to some of the largest Utility companies across the UK as part of the National Grid Technology Framework, to join as a Security Installation Engineer and help to develop the business during an exciting phase of growth.
Essential Competencies:
- Access Control
- CCTV
- Intruder
- Powerfence Gallagher Security Systems (Access Control or Perimeter)
You will have a complete understanding and be able to demonstrate at least ONE of the following disciplines. You will be forward thinking with an eye for detail. You will be expected to work alone and as part of a team and effectively plan your day to day works.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Fault diagnosis on Electrical Fence, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms systems
- Installation of bespoke security systems
- Planned preventive maintenances on bespoke security systems
- Detecting and reporting defects, snags and complaints
- Responsibility for Van Stock / Replenishment and Stock Taking
- Competency in problem solving and an ability to make diligent recommendations
- Demonstration to Clients and End Users of completed systems or individual work(s)
- Arranging PAT and Meter Calibrations for company issued equipment
- Completion of Asset Tagging and Registration of Information
Candidates must be PC and IT literate as recording of data and email are an important job requirement. You will be an integral part of the Security Installation Engineering team, ensuring the works are carried out in a safe, diligent, professional, and timely manner.
