Job Description

Our client, a globally recognised brand, is in search of a Security Risk & Intelligence Manager to oversee physical infrastructure and holistic corporate security measures. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in overall physical security protocols. While the focus leans towards domestic locations, the role may involve occasional oversight of broader international operations.

This is a hybrid role, with three days expected in the office. Occasional UK travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Security & Crisis Management, the Security Risk & Intelligence Manager will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the dissemination of information from security intelligence providers and internally generated documents to personnel as needed, both before and during events.
  • Develop, oversee, and maintain a security risk framework, documenting existing and required mitigations along with residual risk.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of current intelligence providers to identify gaps in the utilization of available intelligence products.
  • Enhance bespoke intelligence products further through collaboration with internal teams to enhance company-wide awareness of the intelligence capabilities held by the security team.
  • Manage all high-risk travel situations by providing tailored travel advice and intelligence to travelers based on destination and activities in-country.
  • Take ownership of travel security policies and serve as a point of escalation for travelers in case of incidents requiring signposting or coordination. Regularly update existing policies and develop new travel security-related policies as needed.
  • Introduce and conduct awareness and learning initiatives for staff regarding travel and insider risk management.
  • The role may potentially supervise the Vetting function, ensuring proactive management and mitigation of insider threats.

Candidate profile

  • Candidates should have prior physical security and intelligence management experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • This is a dynamic organisation, so adaptability and the ability to think on your feet are vital.
  • Prior involvement with event security may be advantageous.
  • Relevant security/intelligence focused education would be advantageous.
