Your Role:
As an SEMH English Teacher, you’ll:
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: From Entry Level to GCSE and/or Level 2 equivalents, create exciting and differentiated English lessons.
- Individualized Learning Plans: Develop tailored plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Trauma-Informed Teaching: Utilize a trauma-informed approach, fostering a safe and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support.
- Inspire Learning: Cultivate a love of learning through nurturing, engaging, and purposeful teaching.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience supporting students with SEMH needs is essential.
- SEN Knowledge: Familiarity with SEMH conditions.
- Qualifications: Hold a relevant degree or teaching assistant qualification.
- DBS Check: Possess an enhanced child workforce DBS (registered on the update service or willing to obtain one).
- Updated CV: Share your academic and employment information from the last 10 years.
