Job description SEN English TeacherTameside ASAP STARTProspero Teaching are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join the teaching team at a SEN High school in Tameside. The school is for children aged 11-16 with moderate and complex learning difificulties and autism.This role is a full time position and is open to ECTs as well as more experienced teachers of English.The successful candidate will need to fully immerse themselves in the school and department and assist in planning and preparing lessons, attend departmental meetings & parents evenings when necessary. You will also need to be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location – TamesidePosition – English TeacherStart date – ASAPTemporary – Permanent contractMinimum rate of pay – £140 per dayHours – 8:30 AM – 4:00PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) English Teaching experience desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new oneProvide two professional references
