Job description We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and assist children aged 3 – 19 years old with ASD, PMLD, and SLD in the SM4 area. Key Details: Location: SM4 Start Date: ASAP start / September 2024 Pay: Paid to scale Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm ‍ About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the educational, social, and emotional development of students with SEN.Provide individualized care and attention tailored to each student’s needs.Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.Create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed. Qualifications and Skills: Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role is desirable.Relevant certifications or qualifications in SEN are advantageous.Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.Ability to adapt to changing situations and respond effectively to student needs.
